The St. Johnsbury School District serves more than 1000 students, Pre-K through 8th grade and tuition our high school students to several area public and independent high schools.

The St. Johnsbury School is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Long-Term Substitute Teacher for 6-8th Grade STEAM.  This opening will be approximately Mid-April to June 16, 2026.  We have a strong middle grades team that includes special educators as well as behavior and academic support. 

Qualified applicants must have a bachelors degree. Educational experience is preffered as well as a passion for providing instruction and support to middle grade students. This is a licensed teaching position. We are willing to request a temporary teaching license for this position if necessary. Pay will be dependent on educational level and years of experience in the classroom.
